In Matthew 21:22-23, Jesus teaches His disciples about prayer and it’s power: So Jesus answered and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” (NKJV)

Therefore if you need prayer, post your requests here and when you do, say a prayer for others who have posted their prayer request. Also when God answers, be sure to post your praise report as well. We serve an amazing God who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us (Eph 3:20, NIV). Let’s shout His praises for the world to know.

    Father, today we come before you lifting up those being affected by Harvey in Texas. Father we pray for their safety and for the restoration of families. We pray that Your Love would be evident even in the midst of this crisis. Father we pray for health and strength for those assisting in the recovery efforts as well as those who are suffering lack. We pray Lord that peoples homes and possessions would
    be replaced, and that people would band together to restore Texas to
    its former glory and that they would recognize Your hand in their efforts. We pray that thru adversity they might become stronger more unified towns. That people would begin to get to know their neighbors and care for each other.
    Amen

    Father, we pray for revival; for a turning away from the sins and passions of this world to You. Help us to submit our will for Yours TODAY! Lord, help us to find strength, comfort and purpose in Your Word. Father, let us manifest Your love to others TODAY! Let us tell someone about Your characteristics You have revealed to us, reminding them that You are: the I AM, a Strong Tower, Righteous, Truth, Faithful, Love, Creator, a Sustainer, Healer, Redeemer, Friend, Father, Peace and Joy.

    Lord, today as we reflect on the current human trafficking situation in TX, we pray and ask that You change the hearts and minds of those who perpetuate, those who finance and who actually smuggle these individuals with malicious intent. We pray that they would begin to see the value of those people they treat as a paycheck or a means to an end for them. We pray that they would begin to see the sanctity of life and the value of each human being who was formed in Your image with purpose and destiny before they were conceived or even considered by their parents, even before the formation of the world. Lord we pray for those who have been entrapped in this vicious cycle, that they would know You and that You would be their strength. Lord, remind them that though their situation may be dim, You are able to bring light and healing to them.
    Lord we pray right now that those people who perpetuate it either knowingly or unknowingly would become aware and decide to change their ways… those who hire workers who have been smuggled would stop because cheap labor is not always cheap. The sex industries that use these young children for financial gain, as well as those who support and patronize this industry, Lord we pray that they would see the error in their ways and submit to Your plan for love and relationships. Lord we pray for the system which accepts bribes or turns the other way allowing these type of situations to become a commonplace, Father we pray that you would stop them and bring them to accountability.
    Father, we also pray for those who have families who thought they were giving their children a better life and chance for their futures… we pray that they would begin to see the truth of this trafficking scheme. Lord we also pray for the families and friends who have been torn apart and who have lost loved ones, both emotionally and physically. We pray those who have died are now in Your presence.
    Finally, we pray that those who have been getting away with trafficking would begin to get caught and that the industry would come to an end and that those searching for a better life would be able to get to healthier, safer countries legally and truly gain an enhanced life.

    Lord, today we are praying for all of the families that are struggling. We ask that you would touch those who are struggling with bereavement and those who are taking care of loved ones who are sick. We pray for your strength and peace to be upon them. We pray for their financial stability as they heal emotionally and we pray for physical strength to continue taking care of those who are sick.
    Father we lift up to you all those who are struggling with depression and feeling unworthy and unloved. We pray that your hand would be on them and that they would feel Your presence and that they would begin to believe what You say about them, that they are loved, special and valuable, precious in Your sight. Let them believe that they are the head and not the tail, and that You created them with purpose and with a great destiny.
    Lord, we lift up the families that are struggling to stay together, Father we pray healing to broken marriages and broken families. We ask that Your love would surround families right now and that they would begin to see that what You have joined together is now one and not to be separated. We pray for communication that would be kind, loving and transparent so that healing and understanding can happen. We pray for Godly parents that are good Christian role models for their children and all those who want to see what a healthy relationship is.
    We pray for the children, that You, Lord would encamp Your angels all around them and that they would lean on You with every decision they make, large or small.
    We pray for all of us to desire to get closer to You, pray more and to seek Your face by spending time in Your Word.

    Lord, we thank you for the men today. Thank you for making them to be strong and compassionate. For allowing them to gracefully submit to You so that we wives, women and daughters can submit to men who lead with wisdom, dignity and honor. Thank you for the Fathers who walk worthy of Your calling and who try to emulate You every day and by doing so, are loving examples of what great husbands and fathers are.
    We pray for the fathers who are absent and ask that You, Lord, would begin to touch their hearts and minds TODAY because it is never too late and Your grace is always sufficient. We pray that they would begin to see the “close calls” and “luck” they had over the years was nothing short of Your hand on their lives, keeping them from danger and giving them opportunity to choose You and to surrender.
    All those men who are burdened and seemingly try to carry the weight of the world, their families and jobs on their backs alone, Lord we pray that they would begin to see that You are right beside them offering Your love and assistance. Your Word says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30) We pray that today they would begin to cast their cares and worries to you and pray that you would sustain and comfort them during their struggles, until their morning of deliverance appears.
    Lord we pray that the men would begin to take a stand for You, starting today and that as they walk and learn of You and that You would bless and transform them, their families, their jobs, their lives, restoring all they may have lost on their lives journey. Lord we pray that they would begin to have visions and dream dreams again, restore their hopes and give them opportunity for bountiful growth and that You would be well pleased by them.
    Finally, I pray that they would forgive those who have offended and hurt them and I pray that we also may forgive any hurts the men in our lives may have given us. We pray the spirit of repentance would restore broken people and restore/create healthy relationships as we move forward.

    Lord, today we pray for our leaders and those who have authority over us. The scriptures teach us that we succeed when we worship You in in Spirit and in Truth (faithful obedience). A people who trust and lean on the Lord to direct their steps is a strong and fortified nation. Those who trust in weapons, armies, and themselves or their alliances rather than on the Lord is weak and easily defeated. Therefore we pray that the world would wake up and turn back to the Master. That we would being to believe You Lord for who you are and believe Your truths for our lives. Help us to identify sin as sin and turn away from it. Help us to love as you love. Help us to serve you with determination and even when everyone around us tells us that we are crazy for doing what You have called us to do, we pray that we would stand and complete every task You have set before us.
    We pray for leaders who first submit their will and plans to You. We pray that you would speak in a way that they would hear and that as they hear they would be obedient. We pray that those in authority would turn from wickedness, deceit and that they would stand for justice and stand for the widow and the poor. That they would be a voice for the voiceless and that they would have compassion. We pray that their hearts would break with the things that break Your heart. – Amen

    Father when people are struggling with loss, depression, disappointments and even find themselves angry with You, let them know that You are big enough to handle their emotions and help them stay holy and faithful to You. Let them begin to fight to believe You at Your Word, which reminds us that:
    * You will never leave or forsake us (Deut 31:6)
    * You are working ALL THINGS for our GOOD (Ro 8:28)
    * I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living (Ps 27:13)
    * The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet (Ro 16:20)

    With Valentine’s Day tomorrow… love is in the air. While that may be wonderful for those in loving and committed relationships, others find it a time of loneliness and even get depressed. Therefore let us remember what God says about love… John 13:24-25 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” So rather than worrying about fitting into societies standards and expectations for this Valentine’s Day let’s strive to live to God’s standard of love everyday, and by doing so, we may also be able to comfort those who are struggling.

    As we embark on inauguration let us remember what Paul taught us in 1 Timothy 2:1-3:
    I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

    Let us pray that God would work all things for His glory, that President Elect Trump would serve this country with dignity and strength and that he would submit to the True and Living God who is the only real Authority, and one who can give wisdom to those who ask. We pray that President Elect will determine to please the Master and lean not on his own understanding but lean on the Lord to guide his steps and that he surrounds himself with advisers that love the Lord and will give sound advice.

    Please join me in praying for those affected by flooding in Louisiana, lives lost, those whose homes have been destroyed and those who are struggling to save and assist the stranded and hurting.
    Father, please protect and cover all of them. Allow those who have not be affected to open their doors and be a blessing to those who are suffering. Allow emergency services and relief efforts be exemplary and be exactly what is needed: that they would receive and distribute necessary hot food, clean clothing, water, shelter, emotional support, etc. Allow the restoration and clean-up efforts to be thorough and affordable for those who are struggling financially to the result that their homes would be better than they were previously.
    Finally LORD, please let Your love be evident to all, so the world will know that You still reign.

    Just sitting back looking back over certain periods of my life and I have no other choice but to thank, praise and give ALL the glory to God. I thank Him for where He has brought me from, for leading me to Hope Church, for His anointing that rest, rules and abides on Pastor, 1st Lady, those that sit on staff and for the love that is present in those in the house. Just See Jesus…when we seek Him first He puts our lives in the order He called them to be!     Praise Report: God speaks every time we earnestly seek after Him. I needed a Word and a touch, opened the Word and He ministered to my exact need. I wasn’t even sure of what I was in need of but He knew and answered perfectly…. Hallelujah!
